{"id":46,"date":"2014-08-29T15:04:03","date_gmt":"2014-08-29T14:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.systerel.fr\/en\/?page_id=46"},"modified":"2025-10-31T14:55:52","modified_gmt":"2025-10-31T13:55:52","slug":"assessment-audit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.systerel.fr\/en\/solutions\/assessment-audit\/","title":{"rendered":"Evaluation &amp; audit"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Assessment of safety-critical software or systems<\/h2>\n<p>Systerel evaluates control-command systems and software <strong>with high levels of safety integrity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Evaluation activities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>assessment of the development process<\/li>\n<li>assessment of RAMS aspects (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety)<\/li>\n<li>assessment of software architecture and its impact on security and availability<\/li>\n<li>assessment of safety-critical systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Systerel also supports its clients throughout the approval process of the safety case by the relevant certification authority.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualified Assessment Body<\/h2>\n<p>In July 2022, <strong>Systerel was awarded ministerial approval as an OQA<\/strong> (<em>Qualified Assessment Body<\/em>) for the safety of automated guideway transit systems.<\/p>\n<p>Systerel can therefore evaluate the safety of these transportation systems within the field of &#8220;railway control-command and signaling&#8221; expertise, prior to submitting the safety case to the STRMTG (<em>Technical Service for Mechanical Lifts and Guided Transport Systems<\/em>) regulatory authority.<\/p>\n<h2>Audit<\/h2>\n<p>Systerel conducts audits to assess the compliance of processes with normative and regulatory requirements:<\/p>\n<section class=\"block  blanc avec-onglet\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>compliance with industry standards (EN 5012X, EN 50716, CEI 61508, CEI 62138, \u2026)<\/strong>: RAMS, GAME, team independence, lifecycle, project management, change management, qualification plans\u2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>compliance with ISO 9001 quality standard<\/strong>: control of non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions, document management, backup management\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/section>\n<p>These audits are part of a continuous improvement approach. They help identify processes that are not implemented, poorly applied, or not applicable, and detect non-conformities that may impact the quality of deliverables \u2014 particularly regarding safety.
