Ultimately, these new reactors will meet the electricity needs of 6 million households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These reactors will be protected by a new architecture of imposing safety and emergency control-command systems. Indeed, each of them consists of 76 electrical cabinets, the design of which represents a significant challenge given the complexity of the electrical diagrams and the number of wirings to be carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Systerel is proud to have contributed to this vast project as part of its partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technicatome.com\/en\/activites\/reacteurs-et-installations-nucleaires\/hinkley-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TechnicAtome<\/a> by bringing its expertise in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.systerel.fr\/en\/solutions\/critical-software-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">development of tools<\/a> (XML and XSLT) and its expertise in the fields of verification and testing applied to a safety standard.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the construction of two EPR reactors at the Hinkley Point nuclear power plant site, Framatome is participating in one of the major industrial projects in the United Kingdom.
