Within the framework of the Paris metro modernisation project, RATP chose Alstom to supply a Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) automatic train control system on line 6, one of the oldest lines in the Paris metro network.
Systerel was involved in the transitional phases (PAES “Pilotage Automatique Embarqué Simplifié”-“Simplified On-Board Automatic Control” and VTPA “Version Tapis Pilotage Automatique”-“Autopilot Trackside Version”) and carried out the validation of the data linked to the implementation of the CBTC OCTYS system.
Thanks to its expertise in the EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129 standards, Systerel carries out the development, validation and evaluations up to level SIL 4 of CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) systems deployed on numerous metros throughout the world.
