A few months ago, Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh Metro were inaugurated, an ambitious project that is transforming the city’s mobility! Systerel is proud to have contributed by supporting Siemens Mobility in the development of signaling and control systems.
This network, which will eventually span 6 lines and 176 km, aims to rethink mobility in Riyadh while providing a sustainable alternative to private car use.
Our teams carried out system validation activities to ensure compliance with the project’s requirements.
Thanks to our expertise in railway standards EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50716, and EN 50129, we contribute to the design and evaluation of CBTC systems certified up to SIL 4, already deployed in numerous metro systems worldwide.
